(Strictly a Preschool... NOT a Daycare!)
We are a small, family owned, preschool program. We offer 2 hour or 4 hour preschool and Kindergarten Prep classes, with a choice of 2 or 4 day class options.
At Kinder Garden Academy we focus on a literature based learning approach. Your child will love to learn, grow and discover their excellence with us.
When you're here, you're family! You'll love our friendly, inviting classroom, our structured teaching, and fun family events. But most of all your child will love the 1-on-1 attention we can provide by keeping our class sizes small.
We are so excited to have you come and grow with us!
Our Mission
Our program will help your children socialize, learn, and have fun in a safe and healthy environment without super overwhelming long hours and crowded classrooms. Think of it as a preparation for "Big Kid School". Your child will thrive in our small classroom community and build friendships that will last a lifetime! We offer a community not only for the kiddos but for our parents as well. We all become one BIG village of love and support and build friendships that last even after your kids have graduated our program!

Thank you for being kind and for making lessons fun. Lester learned and grew a lot during the past year. He loves reading and writing a lot! And math, Days of the Week for sure!! lol." Vivian S.
"Thank you so much for all the hard work you do teaching my daughter, Anna! She seems to be enjoying her time in class and I am impressed by some of the work she brings home. Education is incredibly important to our family and feel that what you do is vital to her growth. We thank you for all you do." Erica C.
"Thank you for your hard work in getting my incoming kindergartner to stay engaged and participating in class. It’s a tough job and you’ve been amazing." Chaun Y.
We Use a Literacy Based Curriculum!
Don’t take your chances with other preschool programs. Instead, rest easy at night, knowing your child is getting the best preschool education to prepare them for Kindergarten !
A literature-based curriculum uses books as the main tool to build literacy in young children. This unique approach to learning has a number of
benefits for preschoolers. It exposes children to an abundance of new vocabulary and helps them understand how words are used in context.
It also exposes them to different people, places, and ways of thinking which helps children develop empathy as well as an appreciation for literature.
In a literature-based curriculum, teachers and children discuss what is read. Children are encouraged to think about what they read and share
their thoughts and opinions. Teachers plan different units and select books they use to teach about the topic. For example, when teaching a unit
about animals and insects, children might read The Very Hungry Caterpillar. In addition to teaching about the life cycle of a caterpillar, the book also covers counting, days of the week, and foods. Response activities and group discussions help ensure that children understand what they are reading..
